To contour...

So this week i have been practicing my contouring. I am finding that using cream bronzers work better on my skin, rather than powder ones. They blend in so well and look more natural. At the moment i just using the foundation palette that came with my course, to practice my contouring. It's so funny searching the internet for tips and tricks on makeup, I have seen so many bad contours and some brilliant one. My Pinterest has gone crazy for makeup at the moment, from Kim Kardashian extreme contours to the prettiest bridal contouring. My face is looking more and more beautiful each week, thank you QC makeup Academy :)
Next week is a 3 day week for me and then, it's a long hard study session, and another bank holiday weekend. But before the mayhem begins, I think i will pop to the shops for s but of inspiration this Saturday. Happy Shopping! (And happy contouring obviously)

busy busy bee!

Lately i have been feeling rather overwhelmed. Everything seems to be rushing in at once. There are posts to write, workouts to do, badminton to play, and work to go to. I'm trying my hardest to get to grips with posting more, studying and doing everything else all at the same time. 

I think i just need to sit down and write a schedule for everything, then maybe i will be okay. I'm trying to promise, promise, promise myself i am going to start my posts on makeup very soon, and then is when the fun will start :)

I know I haven't done a post for a while, I have been busy studying, working hard and have just come back from a super fun holiday at center parks. My goodness it was hard work. It was one of non stop holidays, with cycling everyday and field archery(which was amazing). But anyway I came across this fantastic thing called 100 happy days,which is a challenge  to post one thing that makes you happy for 100 days. My must have for 2014!

Today i came across the instax mini 8 Polaroid camera from fujifilm. This very sweet little camera comes in 5 beautiful colours; white, black, blue, yellow and pink. I must say the yellow one is my absolute favorite, and i must have it! I have always, always, always wanted a Polaroid camera, but could never seem to find one that wasn't going out of date. But the instax mini 8 is fairly new and very reasonably priced.  You can get it here at amazon for £77.69, which includes 40 shots. 

Study study study!

I started my makeup course back in December, and have very nearly finished my unit A, hurrah!

Of course i'm loving everything i am learning, from brushes to a makeup artists working environment, but to study after a long day at work sure can be difficult. so to make things a little less stressful and miles more fun, i have been searching for tips and tricks all over the internet and have limited myself to 5 hours of study time a week. In my travels over the internet i have come across some fantastic blogs like Maskcara and makeupsavvy, which have inspired me to my core.

New Makeup Area

 My collection of makeup and brushes has started, and i needed a new area to put all my goodies. So i scooped all the rubbish out of our spare room, and got a new space set up. Along with a new desk area!

Oh how exciting :)
